A breast lift, or mastopexy, can be performed on its own or in conjunction with a breast reduction or breast augmentation. You will need a consultation with Dr Kenton-Smith to decide what would be best for you.
A small lift may be possible leaving a scar which just encircles the areola. Large amounts of excess breast skin usually require some form of anchor-shaped scar, similar to that of a breast reduction. This can be performed without reducing the size of the breast, or even enlarging it, if this is what is desired. Other uses for mastopexyMastopexy can also be performed on one side to even up breasts as a result of breast asymmetry or to match a breast reconstruction of the other side. How much will breast lift surgery cost?If mastopexy is suitable for you then the cost is approximately $19,500 - 20,500 including surgeon's fee, hospital fees and anaesthetic fees. If you need both mastopexy and breast augmentation then these can be performed at the same time and costs are approximately $25,000 - 26,500 for anatomic implants.
